Lakesmere’s filing systems had become uncontrollable with the company procedure of keeping hard copies of everything costing time and money and causing inefficiencies. Financial Director Geoff Dennis reviewed a lot of systems but found that Workspace was the only product that provided the document management functionality they needed with integration to the companies contacts and project databases.
Lakesemere have pioneered the development of new functionality in Workspace such as the now standard skills and training module. This gives the company a quick and simple way of managing and accessing information relating to qualifications and training. This way they can be sure everyone on site has the required qualifications and they are notified of expiry dates. Workspace has streamlined a range of processes at Lakesmere such as purchasing, invoicing and attendance records. They have removed much of the paper trails and Workspace is making everyone's jobs easier.
