RLFs prime driver for introducing Workspace was to centralise the management of project information across the expanding business. The firm has seven offices across the UK and needed a way of binding together the disparate information that existed at each site. Workspace was selected above other systems as a cheaper and less risky solution.
RLF embarked on a change management programme to ensure the successful introduction of Workspace into the business. RLF ran a marketing campaign to ensure that people understood the efficiency savings that would result from the change and training on the system was comprehensive; as a result take up of the system was high from the start.
The initial goals of managing projects, document and contacts more intelligently have been achieved and RLF have since developed Workspace further to cover financial integration and to move towards the goal of a ‘paperless office’.
“We wanted to make sure that this fantastic tool was used to it full potential”
